From the Humane Society...
The Humane Society rescues as many dogs and cats as possible from the local animal shelter where so many animals arrive that euthanasia is necessary, places them in foster homes and updates their vet care including vaccines and spaying and neutering. These animals, and occasionally those taken from the community, are then ready for adoption into forever homes. Visit the Humane Society's adoptable pets!

From the Animal Shelter...
The Humane Society's Friends of the Shelter volunteers go to the Murray-Calloway County Shelter at least weekly to take photos of the animals for adoption and post them on Petfinder.com. Visit the Animal Shelter's adoptable pets.
