Memorial
Mark
Arneson, Calloway County Animal Control Officer for the past six years,
died May 8, 2012. He worked tirelessly for the animals in our community
and the people who care for them.
Visitation and memorial service will be Sat., May 19 at J. H. Churchill
Funeral Home. Visitation is 1-2 pm with the service following at 2 pm.
Having
worked at the animal shelter and animal control, Mark was a passionate
supporter of spaying and neutering. Because of this, memorial
contributions are being accepted in his memory to the Fixed For Life
Spay/Neuter Fund which assists those in Calloway County who adopt from
the animal shelter as well as low income people in the community to spay
and neuter their pets. Memorials may be mailed to P. O. Box 764, Murray,
KY, brought to the Humane Society office or made using the PayPal link
here.
Complete obituary may be found

RIBBON UPDATE:
Three years ago in
February 2009,
RIBBON
(injured pit bull from Calloway
County, KY)
was taken in by Rescue Ink in Long Beach, NY.
He was almost immediately featured
on RESCUE INK UNLEASHED
shown on
National Geographic Channel
which is a hard act to follow but
Ribbon, now Rebel, has been a very busy dog!
See what Rebel has been doing.
