Legislative Advocacy

Promotes grassroots lobbying for legislative change to benefit animals on local, state and national levels.

In 2004, updated animal ordinances proposed by the Humane Society were passed in the City of Murray and City of Hazel and the county's first animal ordinances were passed in 2005 by the Calloway County Fiscal Court.
