If you have
lost or found an animal, here's what to do:
1. Act quickly!
2. If the Found animal is
wearing a rabies tag, call the phone number on the tag first.
3. Have a Found animal scanned for a microchip at the Humane
Society, Animal Shelter or veterinarian's office; this could quickly
lead you to the owner.
4. Call and/or visit the Murray/Calloway County Animal Shelter at (270)

5.
Email the pet's photo*, description (approximate size, gender, color,
distinguishing marks or features) and contact numbers to the Humane
Society at

a free classified ad for one day.

A female, unspayed Golden Retriever disappeared from
her home on Purdom Road off Hwy 80 between 9 and
10:30 a.m. She is an average height and length for a
Golden but is unusually thin following a false
pregnancy. She is wearing a collar with a flat ID
plate on the collar with the name Mitchell but the
phone number on the tag is disconnected. The dog is
not microchipped. She is a lovely, sweet
three-year-old dog who did not typically leave the
immediate neighborhood. Her most distinguishing
characteristic is that she is not golden but is
almost white.
If you have seen the dog or do see
her, call the Mitchell's at 270-210-9247 or contact
the Humane Society.

Found

Found Mon., Nov. 12, 2007
These two little girls were found off of Hwy 94 and taken in on Monday,
November 12th at Hope Harbor Church so that they would not get run over
by the traffic. One seems to have a terrier or schnauzer mix of some
sort with coarse wired hair, and she was wearing a pink collar with no
tags. The other seems to be a longhaired Chihuahua mix wearing no collar
or tags. They are both loving little girls who just want to be pet and
loved, and want to find their homes! If you have any information on
either one of these dogs, please contact Cindy at 293-4047 or the Humane
Society at 759-1884.
